English

Read few tweets which the writer actually questioned why those people whose 1st language isn't English, tend to put an unnecessary 's' in words or 'the' in sentences when they speak English. Probably I'm kind of sensitive person, but this remark certainly filled me with rage.

Those people obviously, they didn't get used to converse in English. Their parents speak to them using their respective mother tongue. When they enter elementary and secondary school, again they speak languages other than English with their friends. In university, they hardly speak English as well, perhaps only when confronting lecturers, they do speak a tad amount of English. So, how could you expect someone who didn't speak much English for almost 2 decades, able to converse English in a proper or even near to perfection way?

Their parents probably had their education completed until primary level, or the parents did not see the importance of English back  then, or perhaps, their parents weren't/aren't an English teacher.

Those people, I could see, they actually tried hard to speak English. I have to admit I am one of those who does not able to speak perfect English. I am trying to improve and I believe those people are trying hard as I am, or probably more.

When we speak English, and you hear something unpleasant to you, do not critics at the back. Keep in mind that everything has space for improvement. Who knows one day, we may outshine you. ;)

Coffee Polaroid

I drink coffee more than often, definitely not because I love to, but I need to. Especially when it comes to rushing case summaries or revising at late hours and I need it as an eye-opener.

Nevertheless, coffee arts are certainly something I really fond of. Looking at those arts gave me a tranquil mind which I always look for after hectic classes/rounds in uni.

These are pretty much the 'collections' of coffee I had. I would never give a second thought to seek more.

Cappucino @ McCafe. Pretty art but not impressive taste.

Cappucino @ Puran B.

Looks like teh tarik, but if I'm not mistaken, it's actually cappucino as well. Don't order this in Food Foundry.

Latte @ Coffee in Love

Overjoyed when I saw this was served on my bday! :)

An evening with Americano @ Coffee in Love

Another Evening session with Latte @ Coffeein Love

Another cup of latte I guess @ McCafe

Latte and uhm cant remember @ Lewisgene

Cappucino, Malibu Rum+Espresso, Honey Latte and Latte @ Lewisgene

Latte, Flat WHite @ J&D Espresso
Mocha, Flat White @ Butter and Beans at Seventeen

yeha that's all :)

Bye Psychiatry

Prof Ng: 'After today, it's going to be at least 3 years before u come into contact with Psychiatry again.'

His words left me pondering, whoa, he's right, I gonna sit for my finals in 10 months time and start my career soon. There is no Psychiatry posting in Housemanship. I'm truly glad we are at least able to learn Psychiatry in medical school. I have to say Psychiatry patients are certainly difficult, most of them have very poor awareness of their illness. They may tell you they are well for the past 1 year or so, well in fact they have been behaving abnormally/aggresively and this could only be told by their family.

Talking to a Depressive patient is difficult. The stressful event that is so overwhelming easily exacerbate the depression in them. If I were them, I even question myself would I be able to withstand the stress? Or I might be like them, fell into the depression trip. I certainly comprehend the helplessness in them, I came across many close relatives/friends who were as depressed as they are. I have to say friends and family are the best support elements. My friends and I jokingly remarked that no matter what happened in coming future, we have to keep in contact, in case we need each other, or else you may see my face appeared on front-line due to a complete suicide attempt.

Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder patients are not easy either. They mumble a lot of irrelevant things, not answering your questions, suddenly shun you away because they lost interest to talk to you. It is very saddening to see teenager to be diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Most of them have their condition deteriorating and probably could not even get themselves a stable job, placing a burden onto family. Be aware of it, if suspected, get an assessment. It's always better to detect it early.

Have to admit Psychiatry problems are so rampant nowadays, it can be co-existing with any medical conditions you name it.

Not to forget all the lecturers, Prof Z who I mistakenly (or maybe everyone) assumed she is the most sternful lecturer. Well she is certainly not, she can be so motherly sometimes haha. Still, Prof S won the first position in me, the dedication and interest to teach students really inspiring. I learn the most from him, he may be the inspiration for me to major in Psychiatry later.

Hmm that's all. Next Orthopaedics! Let's be more diligent.

I give my first love to you

Not my story, but a Japanese movie with the title stated above kakaka

Spent a night watching this. My advice, don't watch this if you don't have a box of tissue with you. Quite an old movie, it does worth the time to watch this.

The story is about a boy who has congenital heart disease with life expectancy less than 20 years. This story evolves around 2 little kids who grew up together until they enter high school. The boy who knows his days are numbered, wanted to push away his feelings for the girl and distant himself from her, because he cannot stand to see her cry or hurt her more than he already has. But the love is so strong that despite many hurdles they encountered, they could not leave each other. Until a day the boy brought the girl to have a honeymoon trip, ended up the boy had a heart attack after the trip. He died at age of 16.

I was immensely absorbed into the movie and imagined myself if I were that girl, knowing someone I love would leave me in anytime, and this made me crying the whole night. Tissues wasn't enough to wipe all the tears so I had to use a towel instead -.-

:')

Best line :'((

Orait, enough watching romance movie, gotta finish up the case summary. Sayonara!

Coffee moments

The Barista claimed this bottle of honey is authentic and costs a lot ~,~

Left: Honey Latte. Right: Latte. Honey latte tastes better, the honey adds to the fragrance.

Malibu rum + espresso. Once sipping, the caffeine tickled the taste buds. Upon swallowing, you could feel the liquor at back of throat. Good cup.

Too cute to resist. Gonna do this, when im free or rajin keke

Ohai

Fish noodles @ Sea Park.
The noodles wasn't memorable but the fishcakes tasted incredibly good.

Birds and Bees's White Wine. Decent taste and I could gulp down 3 glasses. Ended up getting dizzy till the next morning.

Fat Bee's birthday@Rakuzen :D

These lotus root was pretty bland. That look-like-nuts-but-not-so-nuts on top tasted...blah. Weird yet he found it nice.

Unagi Fried Rice. Well, it actually got a better name but I forgot. Great taste.

I ordered this one only. Fried Oyster Roll. The crunchiness I like.

These 2 dishes came last when we were already bloated and breathless. I don't have a fetish for sashimi/salmon, but I assume they are fresh and good.

Insisted to have Sake. Not so bad lah, able to gulp down 2 cups, with difficulty.

Met the long time no see good friend. One dinner session wasn't enough for us to chat or catch up on all the gossips, so got another session the next day, still not enough or should I say it will never be enough.

Ini satay Kajang as supper brought back by roommate. How not to get fat? But a blessing lah ahah

The biggest battle...with food

Steamboat for two. VERY BIG portion and we were feeling so full that we couldn't breathe.

On our second visit of the same restaurant. Had this chocolate fondue! The snacks were nothing special but dipping it in hot chocolate and bringing into your mouth was just too heavenly!

Cheese fondue. It tasted brilliant at first but honestly it got yucky with subsequent bites.

Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee @ Publika. I wish to have a visit at its authentic one at Jalan TAR. Anyway, I personally like this bowl of pan mee. Chillies are fragrant and yes spicy!

Korean and those carefree days

He is always fond of Korean bbq. We both love kimchi a lot. But Korean food locally costs so much. One single meal can cost us rm70 the least. There was once a total damage of rm100+ for 2 persons.
So, we can only afford Korean food once in 2 months the most haha. Money hard to earn ok.

#1 Daorae @ KD

This is the meal that costs us rm100+. Expensive but the meal was good. Worth it.

#2 Myung-Ga Korean Restaurant @ Klang
The first Korean restaurant I went which served clams as one of banchans! Nice.

Big portion of grilled pork for two.

#3 San Nae Deul @ Solaris Dutamas
Easy to spot the location.
Decided to pay a visit after knowing quite a few positive tips about this restaurant. Well, we were quite discontented with the kimchi. Cabbages were too hard to chew. Improvements very much crucial.

#4 Little Korea Korean Restaurant @ SMK
Another Korean restaurant which is highly recommended by a famous food blogger. They serve good kimchi and steamed eggs!

Herbal Noodle soup I made. Nice or not? :)

My current life. Carefree I would say. :)

Somniloquy

He is a somniloquist. Ok in short, he talks in sleep. Well not really in sleep, but there were a few times when he suddenly woke up from sleep and talked, and looked conscious!

There was a time when I was surfing internet in his room while he was sleeping. Out of the blue, he sat up from sleeping position, with eyes opened...
He: Huang Yang Yang!
Me (turned to him) : Huh? What?
He (staring at an empty chair next to me): Huang Yang Yang! How?
Me (puzzled): What happened?
He: Huang Yang Yang! Why are you not moving!?
Me: HUH?!!

Then, he collapsed onto bed. I went nearer to him, he was sleeping so soundly!
Oh man..

We say

He is moving into a new house, and planning to get a TV for his own.
Had a look at electronics in a store, came across a HiFi.
He: Getting a HiFi is a brilliant idea, don't you think so?
Me: Err no. HiFi isn't important. Just get a TV.
He: No, you see. With HiFi, the sound is going to be different when you're watching tv. Like with HiFi, the sound of the explosion will be BOOM BOOM (he made it sounds cool). Without HiFi, the sound will be like PIUM PIUM (squeking).
Me: Budget budget Mr Ong. That HiFi is just your want. We ought to buy the needs first, not wants!
He: ok....

Then passed by a full-length mirror.
Me (pointing at the mirror) : AHA!! THIS IS NEED!

:)

My thoughts

After the incident that night, you left me with so much thoughts.
I couldn't believe you actually made it sounds hilarious. Well I didn't think it was funny.
If you were overwhelmed with sheer boredom, please save your effort to do more beneficial things, instead of letting down the enthusiastic me.
I hope you do repent after your thoughtless act. Sadly you don't. To be honest, that's a huge dismay to me.
You may say I'm a little too sensitive or not fun, please think that how if you were treated likewise. Perhaps you could not suppress your anger well like I could.

Sometimes, I think people are just enjoying the benefits. They made it sound like we, yes WE can do things/enjoy together. Frankly, it's them who want it, not me. Why WE?! I am always the one giving in. What had I done to deserve all these things. I don't have temper does that mean I can be 'utilised'?

I don't have much mediums left to express my thought. I had to conceal this blog. There's another one medium and only someone reads it. That consoles a little when I was asked what had happened :)

A part of me is hoping that day to approach fast. I guess it's gonna be a thrilling encounter. Being friends does not harm :D
