Days

#truestory

Was thrown with question of how did I celebrate VDay and what did I receive. Well, I had stacks of Surgery notes for the sake of exam on the next day. It wasn't that sorrowful as I have my family as company. Real heartwarming. No significant VDay celebration and pressie, perhaps I could not really find any significance of the day.

Nephew again! After a tedious dragging Long Case exam in UMMC.
I know he likes me when he asked Are you going to stay with me? (means stay for a night at his house) HAHAH.ok stop.

Genting with family tomorrow. Blissful.

CNY Day15

Couldn't believe myself I actually went out last Monday, seeing the EOP was just within 1 week time. Planned
to get myself a reward, but it all turned out to be a misery! I placed a mountain-high of hope and expectation on it, and what I got in return, a sunken heart. Teardrops.

Went makan in Timesquare, thought of getting something great to munch and sip may heal this broken heart.
Tried this. And it made the heart bled even more because it tasted so bad! Milk tea with pudding but the taste of the milk was way too overwhelming.

Mr Teppanyaki was another bad experience. Tasteless and oily.

 Salty tofu

Just came across a food blog whose the author 'advised' readers never step into the restaurant after his bad experience over there. Should have come across it earlier. :S

Thought that things were going against my wish which made me so moody. Not until the appearance of this mascot parade that slightly enlightening.
Along with CNY music

KFC mascot.
Luckily the hitting-customer incidence happened right afterwards. Or else I guess this mascot may get beaten up by the furious people. heh
 Toto!

 This one the cutest.
It was always left behind due to its short legs. Certainly hilarious to see it ran with rapid small steps, with its hands rose up, trying to keep pace with others.
 Yea! Sakae sushi!

Tea time. No, should be coffee time!

Coffee in Love, Off Jalan Sri Hartamas

(Pictures from a bad angle because of the laziness to get up from my seat)

So much in love with their creativity in mixing and matching the decors. Absolute unique! Should have captured more of its surroundings. Lovely.

 Picollo Latte. Love its fragrance.

Nestled in a nursery and absolutely a great place to relax and have cuppa coffee.

Supppppeeeeerrrrrrrr. Yummmsssssss. Plan to lose some weight, gone just like that.

Wish me luck for this coming EOP. Amitabha.

The Ward

Saw an old uncle sitting on bed, guess he might be in his 70's. Looks cachectic. Usually, it's rather difficult to take a complete history from such an old patient as some of them have hearing difficulty that you have to shout a little, at the same time feeling bad, some can't remember what happened before their admission. Eventually, you got history of no fever, no cough, no vomiting which is contrastive with what had written in case file. That night, don't know why I just went up to that old uncle. In midst of our conversation, his wife came to us. Afterwards, I noticed the wife kept giggling for every reply that the uncle gave. Then, she told me Dia dah jadi tak betul lah (pointing at his husband), dia tak operate lagi after that uncle told me he got operated on day before which in fact, he was just undergoing some procedures in clinic. Hmm, well, this old-uncle story is not actually what I intended to post. It's actually about this middle-aged man.

When I was talking to the uncle, this man came up to me, asking me why his dad (whose bed is just 2 beds away) still have not gone for operation which is initially scheduled today. He did not even give me a chance to answer him, then give me a lecture. He said his dad is only having a wound at his wrist and it bled but the doctor asked him to be referred and somemore, operation is postponed. If I knew the operation is postponed, I would just bring my dad back then bring him back to hospital again so that he does not have to stay in hospital alone. He's my Dad u know??Government is everytime like this! He was speaking in totally impolite tone, more to like scolding me. I was dumbfounded for awhile. Then before he continue babbling, I quickly replied him I am not a doctor. I'm a student! in quite a high tone. Then he Oh~, then walked away. Few seconds later, he came near to us again, jabbering everything all over again, but this time not to me, to that old uncle and his wife instead. He spoke in English as well. Finish babbling, he walked away. No turning back this time. Then the old uncle told me He was speaking omputih, tak paham, only educated people like you can understand. (In malay). I just smiled, no idea what to say.

Yes, you are certainly a good son who is very concern of your dad. The operation is postponed, there is sure a reason behind. The patient may not be in good condition for a surgery, and it would be a risk if the surgery goes on as planned.

That's all for now. Adios~

My boy

Ezra crossed my mind out of a sudden. Well, he's certainly not my bf.
He's my nephew! Ezra, this name sounds so unfamiliar. Yes, it was given based on his family's religious belief.

I just see him occasionally as his family lives in Damansara. Every visit to his house leaves me with so much happiness. Loves talking to him, u could never expect what would be coming out of his mouth.

Once I knew he and his family would be coming back to KT this CNY, I can't help but yelled out his name. Yes!I will be seeing him!
See how smart he dressed on CNY Day 1.

He's talkactive, but he's not as mischievous as kids of his age who run around with parents chasing behind. I have few other nephews who are about his age, he simply approached them and play around although he is much younger than the others and there's communication barrier between him and the other nephews as he speaks English, refused to utter even a  Mandarin word, while the other nephews mostly speak Mandarin. He greeted Happy New Year and only greeted Gong Xi Fa Cai when he was asked so. Even his Gong Xi Fa Cai sounds so English. Banana betul lah.

He became the centre of attention when he suddenly fell into the fishpond. I could hear the Splashhh while I was about 10 steps away. Luckily few cousins were around, rushed to the pool. I was terrified a moment, thinking how if he got drowned. Luckily the water level is rather shallow which only reaches about at his chest.
Once out of the pond

Kids usually cry out loud because they were frightened. In contrary, he did not. Once he was lifted out of the pond, he said I did not jump into the pool!! Yeah, he thinks that as a pool.lol. Well, he was afraid to get scolded, he was so smart to defend himself. I think other kids most probably accidentally pushed him into the pond. Poor kid, hahah!

He and his little brother, Elijah. Too bad, Elijah was having URTI. Regardless of how million times you called out for him and tickled him, he just replied you with a dontmesswithme poker face.

Asked Ezra, what does he wanna do with his angpows. I wana buy a car! What car? Subaru! He even mentioned the name of the car series. Well, I can't remember what he said. I know nothing about cars, Subaru this brand is totally out of my knowledge until recently -_-. His kindergarten teacher always complained to his mother of how talkactive he is in class. Why the teacher does not find it's lovely to have such talkactive kid? Haha.

Kids are getting smarter by the time. It's fun to play with them, but definitely not fun when you have to take care of them. I would be pulling my hair until the scalp drops off.

Sudden flow of sadness. Comes on and off
