Saturday should be the second best day in the entire week after Friday, shouldn't it? Well, had a replacement ward round at 5pm on saturday. Quite reluctant, but for the sake of learning, we stay for that. Merely a message from the lecturer who wanted it to be postponed to 8pm on the same day started to mar this beautiful Saturday..Again, got scolded by Prof for not being competent enough. And frankly I felt a tinge of guilt. Alright that was all fine, every word she said was rather true and I could accept all her scoldings. Well it could be better if we could impress her, but in contrast, we kept making her disappointed. Too scarce, too shallow and less commitment.
1-hour ward round was quite a pain. Together with my 3 other groupmates., we walked towards our hostel after ward round. One of my friends was wearing skirt, a knee-length skirt okay! It's not short right?! Okay, I shall narrate a lil bout my hostel's rules and regulations! This principal who made to her current position 2 years ago has made our life worse! Our hostel ( or better known as college ) was serene until her appearance!! She started to propose silly rules to tenants of this college. Only knee-length or longer skirts were allowed. There are more actually! And my friend got caught by her. How unlucky! She started to nag her. "Do you know the college rules?Do you know I could just take action on you by writing letter to your Dad and Dean?" And she threatened my friend that she wants her to move from a double room to a triple room! And that would be very small-spaced.
I mean, what's wrong with her mentality?!! That's how a professional attire look like, isn't it? She wants to tell us how powerful she is over this college, her dictatorship is beyond our tolerance limit. There were ceaseless complaint about her, but no action taken.
We assume, she is maybe suffering from perimenopausal symptoms like atrophic vaginitis which her husband starting to shoo/neglect her due to sexual dissatisfaction. And she started to treat tenants horribly bad due to her psychosocial issue. Well, that isn't true but I hope that's true hahahah!
I hope she will be demoted from principal. She made our life terrible. We live in state of vain, being all paranoid. Like "will we get caught if I wear short pants/skirts?" "will I be expelled from college if I don't attend the college activities?" I prefer staying in this college because it's situated near to hospital and very convenient for medical students. But the stupidity of the rules are simply ridiculous!
